alright i have decided to follow Sadalius tutorial upgrading from 1.5 to 1.51,

1. How did he get 1.51 when the pressed the dummy from ixtreme? He didn't load it up?

2.I have 1.5 and will follow this tut http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1zhKyAV ... annel_page" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; will i get the 1.51 or 1.6 when i have pressed the dummy from Ixtreme?

you have to put the firmware in there
if you are going to do it just like sadalis did in his video.

I have to uninstall all Via drivers. In a tut its i have to delate viamraid.sys but i don't it only, this vsmraid.sys.
should i delete it ? its not a VIA?

vsmraid.sys is the vista version of the drivers and yes you must "disable" them however you see fit. Either by deleting it or just renaming it.

viamraid.sys is the only file that you need to mess with. Do not monkey with any other system files man. Also, do not delete viamraid.sys. Rename it instead. Rename it to viamraid.bak. That way if you want to use the card for something else all you have to so is disable the card in device manager, rename the driver back to viamraid.sys and then re-enable the card.

Man, you need to settle on one guide and one guide only. Don't go mixing guides up. That is a recipe for disaster. Once you get all your stuff in, follow that guide that you picked and follow it to the letter. Make damn sure you get your key before you flash it. I've been seeing a lot of posts here lately where people have went through with the flash before getting the key. Without the key, the drive is useless. So make sure you get that before you do anything else.

Alright I'm going to follow your tuturial for my lite-on. I have 1.5 and the tuturial was very good and easy to follow

Its one thing that I'm not to 100 % about. Its how everything has to be connected to the computer and to the driver..

For a lite-on with ixtreme already on it, that will be pretty simple. On the CK3, it has a molex connector, plug a molex power connector from your computers power supply in that connector on the CK3. The cable with a bunch of small wires goes from the CK3 to the connector on the back of the 360 DVD drive. Then you'll need a sata cable with one end plugged into the computer's open sata port, if it's a VIA PCI card this will be the inside port closest to the front of the computer. The other end plugs into the sata port on the 360 DVD drive.

That will be all the connections you need for a lite-on thats already flashed with ixtreme. To flash it, connect everything up and then turn on the CK3. Use the CK3 to eject the tray of the lite-on. Turn CK3 power off. Close the tray by hand about half way or a little more than half way. Turn the drive back on with the ck3. Open jungleflasher. Go to the DVDKey 32 tab. Make sure the lite on shows up under the drive properties. Click Dummy from ixtreme. It will them dump the drive and should automatically put you to the Firmtool32 tab. If it does't auto load the 1.6 firmware, click open target firmware and load up the 1.6 firmware. Double check the source to make sure that it looks right. Then click spoof source to target. Save the CFW.

Click MTKFLash32 tab. Click Lite-on erase, click yes, click yes again and then power cycle the drive using the CK3 quickly and do it only once. The status should change and eventually show a ox72 status. When you get the 0x72 status. click write. It should then flash the drive and when it's done, it will verify it.

Thats it in a nutshell!!

alright i've installed tha via, and the other things i had to. but to the problem
When i press dummy from ixtreme i'll get to save then i don't get the ''warning or what to call it, that says do you want to auto-load. And then it should take you the firmtool32 tab. And it should have load the source and firmware.
But i followed sadalius step and manually load the firmware and the Source does not appear and i cant press spoof source to target
