Has anyone heard anything about the new abgx and lite on f/w being out this friday......I have heard rumors just seeing if anyone can confirm this.

Ok I tried 1.61 and so far it does not work. I had to go back to 1.6 because the 1.61 would not read the games. It just said reading disc and nothing would happen.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?

1.61 has worked flawlessly on every samsung and benq i've flashed so far

Where did you get it from Xbins? Cause I have tried it on 2 Benq drives and no luck.

slightly off subject but linked just the same;
I ve just seen a release of an 'unofficial abgx 1.0.1' on the news feeds
It shows a screen shot that appears to accept wave 4, not sure how this works? ie if it has database support etc.
Any ideas, thoughts?

just tried it...it's a patch to 1.01 that you just copy into the abgx file. it basically has the proper checksums for wave 4 pfi and video partion so it recognizes them as normal and can proceed with verification database
worked perfect on my backup of tekken 6 and also did a proper fix on this game but is still unverified till release date
