Ok I will try the driver thing, and ill get back to you, ans also the card is in its place and ive tried with 3 different cable and I dont think I have that bad luck to have 3 bad cables, if the driver thing doesnt work Ill contact Tekgems and tell them about the card.

Ok I finally got it to write the firmware, but now when I put a backup or an original, It says I should put a 360 disc

Well, that certainly is some progress. Have you tried it just the one time or a few more times with the same results? What did you do different that got it to read?

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
Ok the first time when I dumped the firmware, I went and checked it with firmware toolbox and everything seemed fine, very diferent numbers and letters which from what ive heard was good, but when I was going to flash it it got stuck writing in bank 1, so I went and redid the boot usb, and did the whole thing againI dumped and then when I said to to flash it did it, that is where it gave me the error. Now I redid again the usb boot and put in the usb the original backup which I saved and when I told it to flash it it is stuck writing bank 1, and the thing is that the drive is off it never told me turn it on
Ohh and to make it read I just downloaded the new drivers

ok, try this. Copy your hacked firmware into the tools folder of your iprep boot device. Then boot to it and turn on your benq. Then type in this command verbatim but without the quotes and hit enter:
"doshflash e 1190 1 a0 a 4 DB 0"
Then turn the drive off for about 5 seconds and turn it back on. It should erase the flash.
When it finishes, type in this command same as the last one, verbatim and without the quotes and hit enter:
"doshflash w 1190 1 a0 1 4 nameofcustomfirmware.bin 0"
Make sure to replace the nameofcustomfirmware.bin with the actual name of your hacked firmware file name, like BEN-CFW.bin, or whatever it may happen to be. It should start flashing just as soon as you hit enter, no power cycling of the drive is required between the erase and write step.
Try that and see if it will let the CFW flash.

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
MISSION SEMI-SUCCESS; ok so I was able to flash the drive finally, there was some misinterpretation with the instruction, I thought that I had to turn off the drive for 2 second everytime, which was wrong, end of the line I got to first recover and then flash, now the next mission has to do with my Halo 3 backup, before the drive said I should put a 360 disc, now it says the disc is unreadable, a semi success which means something is right. Do you uys know why it would say that the disc is unreadable? BTW it is my own home made backup following every instruction

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
Try an original first. If originals work, then you know the flash was good. Troubleshooting why backups won't boot can be more difficult that actually flashing the drive since there are a plethora of problems that it could be. Second, check your hacked firmware with firmware toobox and compare it to the original. Your looking at the drive key to make sure that it's the same. If it's not the same, then I'm afraid your going to have to start the flashing process all over again.
If your sure that it's a good flash, then you would have to look at such things as media, a possible bad burn, missing stealth files , check the image or disk with xdvd mulleter. If you check the image, and use the autofix, if the game happens to be in the database, it will fix it for you automatically.

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
Ok the firmware works with original games, and the dump was good when I checked it with toolbox, now im gonna burn another backup that I have that I didnt personally create, to see if it works because maybe was the process of how I did it. Ill let you know.
I just want to take a second to say Thanks to everyone that has helped me in the last 2 weeks, and been so patient. You guys are better than some in 360 mods which sometimes never responded to me. Thanks Again Everyone

When I cheked the Halo backup of mine with mulleter I noticed that the IXtreme compatibility checkbox was uncheckedd, could this had cause that the game didnt play?

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
that is why its not playing
the ixtreme firmware will only play game that have all the stealth patches in it.

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
when I tried to check the box it wouldnt let me, this was with the halo 3 backup. now with the assasins creed backup when I inserted it it told me to do the update, which is a step forward, but after that when I try to play it, it starts to load with the screen black and it doesnt do anything, what could this be? How could I fix the problem with the box for the halo backup?
When I put to check the iso with xbox backup creator it tells me that the pfi sector thingy is bad or something, that was patched with xmulleter? could this affect the playability?

man look at this just use the part that is with dvdmulleter for stealth patching start at fixing with mulleter10

if you check your iso with xbc v2.6/2.7 it has to passall.the split vid does not have to pass
if it does not pass the check it will not play.if you get it playing you stand a good chance of being banned when you get on live.

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
xbc is just a different way to check it
if you did the steps with mulleter it should pass all the steps and be ixtreme playable
