I've got a new sata card on order, and the X3 connection kit, so when i get them i'll give jungleflasher another go and see how it goes.

Ok so here's where I'm at

Using iprep I've created the bootable usb drive. then with theBenQ drive powered on and connected using the CK3 Pro reboot my PC and boot up with the USB rive. Im then asked whether i want to flash to read, so i type 'dben' along with my serial number and hit enter. Then I'm shown some text, something about MTK Vendor, Magic28, i hit enter again and then this is where i get.
MTK Vendor Intro failed on port 0xc860. Because there seems to be a BenQ VAD6038 drive connected you should try the Magic28 unlock method. Do you want to send the magic28 command (Y/N)? "i type and hit" Y
Press esc. to abort.
Flash Manufacturer ID: 0xc2, DeviceID: 0x11
Flash Type : MXIC-MacronIX(MX25L 2005)
Flash Size : 262144 bytes (256 KB)
7) 0xc870 SATA Pri Master None
8) 0xc880 IDE Pri Master None
9) 0xc880 IDE Pri Slave None

Enter the number of an ATAPI drive:
And then i don't know what to do, if something is gone wrong somewhere?

Type in the number thats associated with the port 0xc860 and hit enter. That seems to be where your benq is. Also, before running dben, you might try putting your benq in tray half close state. This helps with getting the drive in vendor mode and makes it easier to dump and flash.

How would i find that out?? And thanks.

Oh and reading the guide over on Team Xecuter's site, they mention something about powering the drive off and on and various stages, that's with an older build of iprep though. Does that still apply with the latest iprep and does it just come at a later stage to where i got to?
