Well the main thing im worried about is that I already tried both the ports MULTIPLE times. I plan on keep working at it. Im trying not to give up.

ok..if i set my com port to 12 or 13 (my dual pci card) it wont dump the key period. my device manager says i have a com 1.. location is 'on pci standard isa bridge'. dont know what thats about. can iprep dump to anything besides com1? is there any more suggestions ...

well iprep only will dump a lite-on through a 9pin com port
the number dont mater

jungleflasher on the other hand will dump out a usb port

Im using a 9-pin male/female.

Taking my cpu to a a+ certified guy today to see if its something in my settings. On another note, is it possible to dump via jungleflasher and flash with iprep. I REALLY dont like jungleflasher but i just need to get the key and place it in the usb directory.

Yeah, you can do that. But on your iprep device you have to create your folders manually and rename your hacked firmware from the way JF names it to the format that iprep uses. Then just use the flit command to flash it in.
