If you go to samsung.com and download the userguide for that drive, it says that it supports dual layer disks.

They both have the same specifications so it would just be a matter of choice really, or if one costs a little less than the other maybe.

ok I got past 50% on IMGBurn, and brunt it to a dl disk. It past the stealth check, but got a error while trying to read the splitvid format. I verified the disk using XBC. Now when I load the disk on my xbox 360 it reads and after a little while it saids "UNPLAYABLE DISK"!! What should I do now. I already flashed my BenQ drive. How can I make sure that my drive is flashed correctly? Or is it the disk that is messed up? Thanks!!

ok
when you put your backup in it will start to play
then after playing a min or so it will stop.if that is the case at least we know your flash is good.
and your burning right.
what speed firmware did you put in the 360
now we need to look at the burner or the disc to see if one of or both could be the trouble.

No when I'm at the dash board i put the disk in and it says "Reading" and then "Unplayable disk".
