Probably wont happen any time soon until it becomes cost effective. Last time I checked a decent burner was like 500 bucks, and the disks are like 20 bucks each.

How big are the games themself's? I know the disks are 25GB, but the games aren't 25 GB are they?

a DL blueray disc is 50gb
single layer are up to 25gb

Wow, thats actually really good. Lets hope they continue to decline in price, if so i'll have to put a blu ray drive in my next comp.

Damn, I wonder how much data games actually use, if they use all 50GB, that would be brutal for backing up... I have copies of all my games on a HDD in my comp, its a 750 GB, i'd only be able to fit 15 PS3 games :O

im pretty sure there could be a wayy to do this, but it would just be a little more expensive than the xbox360 flashing.

and the games are really 50 GB? wow! my computer only holds 100 GB!! haha wow that would be hard!! but im sure time will tell, and we will get out PS3 modded and the xbox360 will fall off

isnt the PS3 Faliure rate like 1% while the Xbox360 is like 40%?

numbers wise thats like 1 out of like a billion PS3 Consoles fail? thats what i herd, is that true?

The last report I seen was 54% Xbox 360 Failure rate, and 3 - 5 % PS3 failure rate.

my ps3, which I bought in the first day that they were selling it. had a yellow light problem. send it back and they sent me a new ps3

I had read a post on another site and they said they were doing this and had something like 3 ps3 to one drive to play games with out using the disc. I think it was somewhere in europe. I will find the link and post when I find it.

I found out the name and it was being used in Korea it is called zpack and supposedly they use it at there ps3 cafe's. I have not done much reading about this yet but maybe.
