New memorex discs made by ritek
So I just popped in a Memorex DL disc and opened up IMGburn and the disc id says ritek-s04-66. Thats good for me because I have never had problems with ritek as long as you burn slow.

Yeah, Memorex has worked very well for me, backups and other.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake,
you just keep on trying 'till you run out of cake.

I picked up a pack of these a few days ago on sale. These weren't the 2.4X speed discs, but the 8X discs, but they also support 4X. Everyone seems to recommend the 2.4X but I was able to get this disc to work. I don't think my drive supports this speed, but I was able to burn it anyway, although the buffer wasn't as consistently full as I would like to see.
Individual cases may vary, but I was able to burn the image at 4X, have abgx360 verify the disc, and have the disc boot.

The speed isnt a big deal the most important thing is the quality of the disk. Ive burned some verbatim's at 6x (for lack of time) and I think a couple at 8, and they work fine.
I tried a memorex a while back and it worked for me as well.
