how can i look up on xbox.com and see if my 360 is banned i have one i unhooked before the ban wave started and dont want to hook it up untill the LT is finished anybody know how to do this i think its repaid status im not sure?

my mate unplugged 4 weeks ago or should i say days before the big ban he plugged back in three days ago thinking he was safe,only to find the banned speach waiting for him.as far as any info on banned consoles i've never herd of a ban list.It's 50/50 chance that your banned already but its worth the wait to use the new LT comming out soon'ish ,would be good for reaserch if you used LT and did not get banned.so please keep us all posted with what happens.But what ever happens don't be tempted to go on live or this will happen. * Cannot go on Xbox Live

may i ad that also if you get banned you can not system link boxes . as i have tryied it.

If you phone M$ and request a repair on your console if your banned they will tell you your console is not eligable, if your not banned you can make the request. If you file the request, then just go to xbox.com and cancel it.

If you have no warranty, just dump your nand before connecting, or make the 'nand switch' and make sure your nand is not writable when you connect to live.

that is not correct man
we have system linked bann and non-banned console
many time in the game room

what you will need to do is clear the cache on all console you are going to system link.

I suggest you ring up to find out if its banned, if it is just use it for backups offline so you can still move your hdd without corruption

Then grab a 2nd xbox for retail online play

Yes, there is a way to find out if you are banned. It has something to do with logging into xbox.com and creating a repair order. It will show you if your xbox is in warranty and if it has been banned or not.This means you will have had to registered your console on the website already. or register one and then check! I will source the guide and images for you and post it later.sorry for the lack of info at this stage just give me 24 hrs will try and get it together i dont know if its genuine ive not checked only just found it.it tells you the status of ur x box even if its modded.and if your banned it displays a error page.
