Robin Hoods Playground

Okay here goes I got my hands on a 360 with a bad drive I mean the drive was stuck halfway out. It was a Sammy ms 25. I had a ms28 laying around with a bad laser so I took the laser out of the ms25 that was stuck and put it in the ms 28. I used Iprep and read the drive before taking it apart and retrieved the key. Then, after I got the drive back together I flashed it and it read the game. I am using retails only no backups and the firmware i flashed to the drive was the original firmware from the first read of the stuck drive. So after it worked and read the game I put it to the side this morning. Then, this evening I took it out put in a game and it says put in xbox 360 or play dvd on screen. So I figured bad flash and flashed it again. It played the game when I first put it in but if I change to another it says put in 360 or play dvd. so then I took the board from the original drive and placed it in the drive I put in laser and it does the same thing. Any ideas??? Or do I just need to buy a new drive. Thanks

if it will read one orig or backup
then the firmware is fine
it would have to be the laser or the backup disc
if it did not read them all

I am using it for originals no backups......Factory firmware. I think it is the laser too. I wil just order a new one off of fleabay. Thanks
