Moving my flashed BenQ drive into my new XBOX Arcade

Hmm.. I thought this would be a bit easier but I have a few questions. Tried looking for tutorial or another thread but wasn't able to find anything exact.

Are there any tutorials showing how I would spoof my old drive onto my new XBOX?

I know I need to read the key off the new DVD-ROM but I have the newer lite-on drives with the 9xxx series firmware. As far as I know these can't be software modded. Will I be able to retrieve the DVD-ROM Key from this drive??

If you can pass along some threads that answer my questions I'd appreciate it.

I could be totally off base from sleep deprivation but I believe they have succeeded in retrieving the key off the 9xxx series but have been unfortunate in finding a way to write to the drive. Also, I think I remember seeing a 1.6, non-official, firmware for the 8x and maybe the 9x as well. If what has been said is true then you could spoof the BenQ in JungleFlasher as a 9x drive.

Yeah your right mate. You will need to dump the key from the new console either way which is a total ball ache. So un less you dump the key from the new drive then its no go with spoofing any drive into it.
