Hey guys,

im sorry for the dumb questions but i can not find ppl who know what they are talking about.

I need to pull a dvd key from the motherboard. from what i understand is you need jtag.

when you install the jtad on the xbox you need a program call xell to get the dvd key?

what else do i need to pull the dvd key?

you dont need the jtag
the jtag is for running homebrew

but
you do need to dump the nand flash chip
and your key is in that dump.

Hi Cofree is there a tutorial so I can learn how to do and use this nand flash chip. I would really appreciate it.

From what I know you will need an exploitable kernel, then you will need to get your cpu key, then you can decrypt your keyvault and get your dvd key.

I may end up buying a mobo w/o a dvd key from ebay if I can find a seller that knows roughly what kernel its running, then dump the nand get the dvd key and give to a buddy of mine for online play

Just to stand this clear: Theres NO WAY to get the CPU/DVD-Key with only the KeyVault! You need to flash and boot up to XeLL to make the Keys visible!

A Tutorial will be available ASAP! Sorry for the delay, but the Holidays had to be the highest priority ...

I'd be pretty interested in this, I know of loads of boards with lost dvd keys that are on old kernel's.

I'm with haggard on this, there's plenty of old kernel boards with no drives.
