Hi,
I am trying to update my Liteon 74850 from 1.6 to 1.61 using Jungleflasher 1.69.
For some reason it keeps freezing during Liteon erase, it's so bad that I have to force my pc off as nothing else works and locks up the drive. Luckily, I can now unlock my Liteon with my hands tied behind my back but I do not understand why it's freezing my pc.
Nothing on my pc has changed since my previous successfull flashes, I'm using Windows 7 (32bit).

All help and advice is much appreciated.

are you using a via card

I'm using a Xecuter CK3 XT Adapter and never had problems before.

Took me 4 very long and frustrating days but I finally figured it out and I happy to report no more freezing at all. Successfully updated ix1.6 to ix1.61 in Windows 7 using Jungleflasher 0.1.69
