flashed ms28 successfully but not reading backup games..?

followed textbooks 2008.pdf guide to flash samsung ms28, went through the whole process successfully, all 4 banks flashed successfully.

turned on the xbox, loaded up a backup, and gets message "please insert xbox disc." btw, the backup disc works on other my other modded xbox.

what could be the issue?

using iprep w/samsung ixtreme 1.4 firmware

non-stealth, other xbox has benq w/ixtreme 1.4

Non stealth games will only play on the non stealth fw. Try a backup that is stealth patched and see if that works.

no sure which fw i used for samsung, but it only gave me one file for the "12x," folder, used samsung ixtreme 1.4 firmware

i've read the text in the samsungs "12x" folder and it shows its a stealth.. i'm also using stealth firmware on my other xbox w/benq, but all the games i made are nonstealth...

Do you have any stealth games you can try. I was trying to confirm that you got a good flash. It sounds like everything went ok, if it flashed all the banks. Its possible that you flashed your benq with the non stealth fw, and your sammy with the other.

so as long as the last process of the flashed, said 100% on all 4 banks, and at the end it says successfully flashed, please reboot computer.. i'm set right??

I would say there is a good chance that it is fine. I don't mess with the non stealth fw so I don't know what options there are for the sammy, but I would venture to guess that you have a good stealth flash. Did you check your keys with fw toolbox before you flashed it to make sure you had a valid key? You can still check it now if you didn't.

so as long, as i got all 4 banks at 100%, it says flash successfully, and to reboot my computer, that means it done correctly??

Man I won't know for sure until you try a stealth backup. I would say, yes, it should be fine but I am not looking at your box. If it plays originals still then I would say the you got a good flash. Usually if you get a bad flash it won't play.
