ok, I bought a new sammy drive to use as a game ripper. I've flashed the 0800 to it and got success. My problem is it won't mount in windows. I've heard about hotplugging, but not sure..? can someone explain what and when/where to do this hotplug.

I don't see it in there. the flash went fine, but the drive isn't mounting. windows sees the via card but no drive. I think I'm just missing a step somewhere...

yes I renamed the viamraid driver when the card was installed. I have flashed ixtreme firmwares multiple times on diff drives all successful. do you need the viamraid driver installed to mount the 0800 drive?

Do you know anything about the hot plugging procedure? I saw on cofree's vid tutorial that he had to do this on 1 of his comp. I want to try that too, but don't know how.
