i went yesterday to buy 360 (i was searching many places)
i saw a xbox 360 premium the date was between 8 to 9 2007

(i mean the month 8 and 9)

and it was not falcon chip

i saw the watt and it was 203 watt and it play backup games

but i didn't buy it

because i want a falcon and its hard to find

how come the console is new and not with falcon chip ???

mybe microsoft put a new software for it ???

they will keep up like that untill M$ uses all there old parts that they have around.

Exactly. They don't just scrap the parts that they have in stock. They want to use them up before they go to another set of parts. They have more than one assembly plant so there are one or two that have been able to start putting the new parts out, while the others are trying to expire their stock of old parts.

so i have to wait now for the new set ?

I have been to Wal-mart and found some with Falcon boards and some not, so you just have to look around and see if you can find one.

Just substitute Walmart with your local stores for your locale. The US will probably see more of the Falcon units before the UK, but the UK should still be seeing some, or at least I would think so.

hi, i just checked mines asswell cuz i was wonderin, it says 203 W on my power supply and i bought this brand new and is the arcade version of the previous core. i thought this suppose to have a falcon chip but according to this post its not. lah i thought ill have a low failure rate, but this brings me back to square one.

Right. The 203 watt power supply is an indicator that it is not the Falcon board. Only the ones marked as 175 watt is the Falcon board.

so that means my xbox still has a failure rate of 33.3% man no. thanks 4 help
