Robin Hoods Playground

Hello everyone.

The other day i should flash a friends liteon DG-16D2S drive, and when erasing in JF, it fucks up, i have the firmware prepared with key and all that.

So i found this tut http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... 110&t=3226" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and followed it step by step, but after getting the drive to status FF72 and going on to dosflash it freezes It wont get any further than this:

Anyone got any ideas to what is wrong? Because im really stuck. (

You could try to type L-O-ERAS.EXE followed by you port nr for 4 times.On my computer I have to type that 2 times then do a off/on then type it 2 more times.That workes for me every time(I use the custom dos for lite on I think it´s in ixtreme 1.5 folder and it was a tut on this site before)

Are you sure you useing dosflash? looks like iprep to me.

Well i followed the video, and it said i should prepare a usb pen with iprep, i guess its just to make the usb pen bootable in dos. (I Guess!)

DosFlash32 is a program that can be ran through window no need to make bootable disk or run in dos.

Tried to do what jetcat said, but with the same result

And who_be_dat, this version is DosFlash16, so its for dos.

Try dosflash32 to recover you drive, get it into vendor mode then write flash in dos32.

Well, i guess my com would just freeze when i turn on the drive, thats why i have to do it in Dos! But I just tried this guide; http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... 197&t=7041" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but with the same result as before, iprep erased the drive with no probs, but when im trying to flash the drive it just locks up again, I start to believe its my comp that is "bad word". Crap!

Yup, but when i turn on the drive its just freezes windows

I got a spare MS28 drive that is spoofed as a Lite-On DG-16D2S from another xbox. Can i just flash that with his key? And do I just have to flash it like its a normal LO drive?

Never mind this, got the ms28 drive to work today, so guess i'll just use that, even though it would be nice to have the other drive to work again :S

But thanks a lot for the answers anyway, nice to have a board to look at when it's going wrong!
