Ok I'm a bit of a noob, managed a year ago to update my firmware to 1.5 using Dosflash but now need to try and get 1.61 on to it. I still have my key/s. I used iPrep 11.6 and 1.61 firmware and put the lot on a floppy disk as I don't have a USB stick under 8Gb. Anyway tried to run the floppy and got as far as the bit where I need to connect the prob but surely if I have my key/s I can skip this part? Where have I gone wrong? Is there a tut for Dosflash using 1.61?

Well if I were you, i'd flash LT, that way you will never need to mess with wave's.

You dont need to dump the drive if you already have the key's, build your cfw with jf, and treat it like a restore.
