Have purchased Xtractor, Vampire and rebuild board for a Liteon 93450C drive.

Soldered and tested all points on the soldered rebuild board using a multimeter (set to Omega at 20K reading).
S1A to S1B - current flowing (circuit is closed)
S1A to S1D - current flowing
S1A to S1C - current flowing
S1A to P101 - current NOT flowing (circuit is open)
P101 to S2 - current flowing
S1C to S2 - current NOT flowing
S2 to S1B - current NOT flowing (J1 bridge NOT soldered, to be soldered until after a successful extraction)
S1A to S2 - current NOT flowing
S1B to S1D - current flowing
S1C to S1D - current flowing

Everything on the board seems fine. Using a PCI to SATA Raid Controller with VIA VT6421A chip inside a Gigabyte GA-965G-DS3 board (this board does not have a VIA chipset, but only an Intel). Inserted the PCI to SATA controller in a PCI slot (slot 3) inside the motherboard. Started Jungle Flasher (JF), and follower steps as indicated in the documentation for "Vampire and rebuild board." With Windows 7 one has to right click and run JF as Administrator. Tried this with WinXP also.

Under the "MTK Flash 32" tab inside JF, I am not sure what to select from under the "I/O Port" drop down. What should I be seeing there? A VIA device under SATA? (PCI to SATA card inserted inside PCI slot). How does one check to see what I/O is communicating with? I get status 0xF2, and going through the steps as per instructions, JF continues "Re-sending Vendor Intros" on and on with the ..... continuing to go without any information appearing under "Flash Chip Properties." Tried the steps as indicated using one Vampire probe/fang, then two probes/fangs without any success.

I suspect that there may be something wrong with the Xtractor. When I turn the Xtractor on and press the "Eject" button on it, the Liteon 93450C drive does not eject at the first press. It usually does that after 2 or 3 (and sometimes even more) presses of the button. For some reason it is not sending the eject signal to the drive at the first press... bad Xtractor board?

After upgrading the motherboard BIOS, to support 4 hard drives, I have noticed that now I can identify I/O with ID of 0x9400 as the Liteon drive (using DosFlash 32 to identify, but cannot extract the firmware - as it gives me an "incorrect firmware version error") and using JF I can now see 0x9400 and can extract (most of the time) the "Flash Chip Properties" (located on the left side of the JF screen under the "MTK Flash 32" tab, and while keeping the Xtractor on, and after pressing the "Read" button, the JF remains stuck at "Reading Bank" 0 stuck. The VIA drivers are not installed and cannot see them in the PC System Properties. Any ideas what is going on?

I have disconnected the two ribbons as indicated for the Liteon 93450C drive, then all three (the last one being the thin white and blue end ribbon) but same - nothing appears under "Flash Chip Properties."

I would appreciate any help in getting this resolved. Thank you and appreciate your time.
