BENQ 0800 connecting to pc probs

Hi I've flashed 0800 to a benq but my computer won't detect it through my via card sata port.I have also connected it a sata cable that I pulled out of my dvd drive but also nothing.I am using a connectivity kit to power it (ck3 lite) Does the light on the kit have to be red or blue when the drive is half open for the pc to see it.Also do I need to reinstall the drivers that were deleted for flashing.Thanks-J

ck3 light should be blue.

The half open thing is only for ixtreme 1.6 firmware I believe.

Are your via driver's intact? You should use a connection that goes directly to your mobo, and try rebooting, and powering the drive as soon as your computer boots, then it should poll all your sata ports and notice you now have a new drive connected.

Thanks It worked!One more problem though I put rock band to try my first back up and followed tutorial on this site(first class again!) but I get the message"extreme style game partition not available cannot continue" when reading game. any ideas? thanks once again -J

make sure you have the latest xbox backup creator
and clean the disc well
that game will back up
