How do you spoof a lite-on key from a dead drive that you fried by turning the power cord upside down to a new replacement drive that you have. By the way I dont necessarily want to flash it with Ixtreme. I only want to put my stock key on the replacement dvd drive. I looked all over and can't find a guide that talks about spoofing lite-on to lite-on. All I find is old guides back when lie-on drives couldn't be flashed so people spoof them for hitachi or samsung. Please help I know its quite simple but I want to make sure Im doing the right t hing because I just got my xbox 360 out of that stupid update failed.

also i want to use that program that checks to make sure your dummy.bin is good and not missing serial data becaue there are two dummy.bin's i have.

you dont need to spoof if the drive is the same as the original, just open the dummy as the source firmware and the liteon original firmware as target and flash the drive like a normal lite on. the firmware can be found on xbins

My drive doesnt seem to want to show up on jungleflasher when i check my status on all my ports. what should i do? ive read around and find guides that say you have to do something on dos etc.... to get it to be detectable on windows again. someone help me out. i deleted my raid drivers so i knowthats not my problem. also i have installed portio32.sys so i know t hats not it. could it be i accidently put it into vendor mode thats why its not showing up.

yes it does eject.

i have similar problems with getting the drive to show up, boot up your computer with the drive already connected and turned on, that works for me, or reinstall your via card and try it in another pci slot if you have another available

i tried to do what you said louis. my drive still doesnt show up in jungleflasher. it did when i was working on my drive like a few months ago. i tried putting dummy.bin in source. then i went to go put lite-ofw.bin in target and the darn thing told me parse failed.

make sure the drive is half open
