hi mate heres my guide which i done recently..its for the v 83850C drive but same princilpl applies for your drive....

ok after struggling for nearly 15 hours i managed to flash my Liteon drive 83850C v1 to the new LT1.1 Firmware. I was told to do this and do that on here, but very small details were missed hence i couldnt flash my drive, so heres my method although its mostly similar

My Guide to flashing a litoen drive, mine was a 83850C V1...manufacturing date JUNE 2009..MY drive was flashed previously by myself with IXTREME 1.61 then this new LT 1.1 came along hence the need for a reflash..lol :D...i also used the l-o-eras commands...i also used JF to make the CFW...then the l-o-erase command to flash....i used ONBOARD SATA to make CFW and L-o-erase ....although my VIA card may have worked...

see VIDEO tut for here :http://robinhoodsplayground.com/forum/v ... 110&t=3556

i used JUNGLEFLASHER 1.73b...and IPREP 8.6...i have CK3 Pro connectivity KIT

1. fired up jf 1.73.....loaded my previous dummy.bin from 1.61 backup as the SOURCE
2..Target fw is the new lt1.1 fw
3. click spoof sorce to target.
4. save as Lite.CFW(.bin)
5. save key
6. save jf log

7. fire iprep
8.load all firmwares ixtreme 1.5 for samsung, liteoon and benq
9. from ixtreme1.5 folder that i have downlaoded, copy entire DOS folder to root of USB DRIVE
10. copy Lite.CFW you made in above with jf 1.73 into the DOS folder
11. boot from usb and follow these commands as below

agree press y for yes

plug drive in and power on

if you have done this correctly you will see iPrep at the top of the page and a cursor blinking....thats you! Great were moving right along now...almost there.

You will need to know what port number your drive is on...for example I have one computer the port is DD70, another is FF80, and still another is... shit I forget.... but you get the picture.

TYPE the following:

C:\> l-o-eras.exe(space)(port number) or C:\> l-o-eras.exe port number..... there is a space between the .exe and port number and dont put these () around the port number . I will use mine for example.

1. C:\> l-o-eras.exe DD70 (enter) should bring status FF80 hit F3 as we are doing this again.
2. C:\> l-o-eras.exe DD70 (enter) should bring status FF72

You might have to do step 2 more than once ...thats OK too...we are looking for FF72.

3. Turn Drive Off
4. C:\>dosflash (enter)
Turn drive on and select drive number
5. Erase
6. Turn drive off
7. C:\> dosflash ...after MTK cut drive on and select Drive number
8. Write or W (enter) lite_cfw.bin
Which will bring you back to your c prompt and your done.....drive should work like a champ now.
