how do you rebuild drive info. i have the key.

the original board on my xbox is dead. i have the key but i am not sure how i would go about rebuilding the drive info of a new drive. any tips on what to use to do so would be great. thanks.

when you say that your board is bad
are you talking about the console mobo or the dvd drive pcb board

The key is all you need...
If your xbox motherboard is 'dead' than there is nothing you can do, rebuilding drive info wont help at all.
I assume you mean your drive is bricked and you want to fix it, and you have the key?
Depending on your drive all you need to do is go on xbins download ixtreme, inject your key and flash the drive with it. If you have a hitachi and its 'dead' there isnt really a way to recover it.
