Despite the increased use of new technologies intended to improve customer service, such as automated phone systems and live chat over the Internet, poor customer service is a huge problem at Blizzard (world of Warcraft)
"Customers really want their service experience to be more like a good short cut - they expect the first customer service representative they talk with to have the knowledge, tools and capabilities required to address their needs," said Robert Wollan, managing partner of Accenture's Customer Contact Transformation business . "Leading companies use technology to deliver streamlined, self-service capabilities that quickly and effectively filter out solvable problems, with a carefully synchronized set of agent-assisted capabilities that eliminate the frustrating effects of shuffling the customer around."
Well
I had a need to call customer service at WOW the other day and had a impossible time.I should have known it was going to be bad,any time there is no competition customer service is always horrible.
I found the worst part was they have a 1-800 number, and tell you to call, but after calling no less than 4 days in a row 4 or 5 times a day was never able to get anyone.
The problem is The machine says due to unusably high customer calls they are unable to take your call at this time, and to call back. (What a joke)
It is obviously a lie,due to the fact that day after day it never got better.
I dont see it getting any better only worse

I think it was CNN that did a story on WoW subscribers dropping
once that started you can bet customer service would be the first to suffer

well
sorry for my rant but
if you have not started playing WoW i would tell you its not worth starting
Find a game that has good customer service then when you invest your time in it
you will not fill like your time has been wasted when you need help for one thing or another.

WoW, i totally agree with you in this Cofree. ive gone through the same troubles as you, that why i dont feel so bad playing on a private server. True they are a bit more buggy less in game help but hey they do what they can with what they have.

I personally had to deal with Blizzard customer service on 2 separate occasions. Both times for password resets, and while I cant say it was quick, think the fastest I ever got through to someone was about 45 minutes, once I got a hold of them they were quick to fix the problem. In game help and via email is a totally different monster GMs make you wait 2-5 days just to tell you cant help you with that, and email response is just as slow and all they ever said was call the 1-800 number.

I knew going into it though that it was going to be a hassle because I had some guildmates deal with them before, so I just put the phone on speaker, cooked some breakfast and watch Sportscenter while I waited. I cant imagine its getting better with WoW coming to the end of its lifespan and most customer service is split between SC2 and WoW account services.

I'll start with this. This has nothing to do with this post's content.
All I'm saying is that it appears that there is a runaway code in this post for the homepage, cause it's running over into other posts. I've seen and mentioned this before and it's obviously nothing big..just...messy. It's probably just something as simple as a forgotten bracket or just closing code for the background color.

Actually, it starts at the quote...and seeing as the quote stops, then that code is ended. It could have something to do with how the quote is at the end of the homepage box set for it, but the quote doesn't finish within that box, so the code continues down the page since on the page itself, there is no closing code. This seems like it would be a stupid thing to fix in terms of being complicated, so..disregard. (Unless someone wants to fix it, cause that would be awesome. <--suffers from OCD)
Also, by the time this is seen, this post will probably be off the homepage...still can be something to check out, though.

Ok..now this does have to do with the post's content.
I've come to learn that I should expect nothing good in terms of customer service from anyone. No one is good...of course...at least I can get someone on the line at AT&T.

yea it has something to do with how the quote is pulled from the forum and placed on the front end
at this point im just not going to mess with it
