Will a 5 gb limit on my high speed internet work with xbox live if I just play games online?
I play about 15 hours a week.

You can install a bandwidth monitor on your router to see how close your getting to 5gb.

Well if you check your router it might have a monitor built into the FW, otherwise you will need to install a a different FW on your router. I believe DDWRT firmware has the BW monitor built in. There are probably other FW's but they are router specific.
I'd say 5gb for only xbox live play should be alright, just dont download trailers, demo's etc.

Wow, how is 5GB/month considered high speed internet? Anyway, bandwidth isn't too critical for online gaming, its the latency that's important. Doesn't your login account for your ISP have a page where you can check bandwidth usage?
