my ps3 60g has blinking red light. i had a storm come through and a couple of electrical momentary black outs. ps3 was on stand by.. i had a surge protector on it. so im not sure what is wrong..i think it maybe power supply failure..heres what it dong. ..from standby.i press power button and it goes from red to yellow and quickly beeps and blinks red .. i tried pulling hard drive out restarting and it does the same . there no disc in it.. i try not to leave disc in side . thank for that..it was not being used at the time ... and it never over heated.ive opened it before and i keep it clean no dust. ive tried every thing and it just does the same... i purchase a power supply for 20 buck from ebay any way, just in case.. ill be trying that when it comes in..and one know what else could be wrong that i could try... how do one know if the power supply is bad or not. any way ill make update when my supple come in and i install it..

thanks bro got it working..it wasnt the psu after all.. did a re-flow of the board my self. with an excellent video i found on utube ill post it if i can find it again..lol.. thanks for heads up...
