Robin Hoods Playground

I'm considering getting a droid with the intention of tethering but I do not want to pay an additional fees that verizon charges. Does the tethering hack still work or have they closed that loophole recently? Thank you for any info you can give me on this subject as I am not familiar with the smartphone services and features

Yeah I think that is the route I would go. The only way i can justify upgrading to the droid and add another 30$ a month in services is if I can tether it but I don't wish to pay another 30 on top of that to do it... that is just nuts. Is there an estimated date to the 2.2 update?

it should come sometime after the 2.2 is done rolling out for the nexus one.

you could just download Easy Tether from the app marketplace.
