I picked up the Droid X on the 16th and I have to say I love it. I have nothing to really compare it since I have never had a smartphone before but I can say that this thing is really fast, I can only imagine what the flash update will do for it

Btw pdanet works great and It was downloading at 1.8 mbps and uploading at 440kb/s according to speetnet.

well that is onr thing we are waiting for
to see if pdanet will still work after the 2.2 update

I will post whether or not pda.net works when the update comes out. I certainly hope it does because I really need that feature

From what I can tell it should work. I'm running a froyo (2.2) rom by cyanogen on my CDMA hero at the moment, just testing it out, not using it as a daily rom, but it seems to work.

Just bought a Droid X. What are some good sites to read up on hacking, important apps, etc?

i'm going to wait for the droid 2, a bunch of leaks about it have been on Engadget. I'm one of those people that need a physical keyboard.

I'm kind of mad because there are no good android phones on GSM Carriers.

My X ships next week and Im super excited !! Its hard to wait for a good phone to come out since technology moves so fast right now but I think this is worth the wait !!

Android is the best thing since sliced bread. Its so open.

There is nothing I hate more than a company releasing such a powerful device that they dont let reach its full potential.
