E65

Post by jts1178 »

Is it possible a key got dumped wrong? Because when I use this key it gives me the e65 error. I flashed it normally with JF.
I even reflashed it with the original SAMFW. No good still. Hmm maybe the drive died. I can eject it, but still E65 pops up. When I flash it . It reads perfect everytime. Confusing. Dont know why it died. Anyone?

I should have dumped it twice. I guess my only option is to learn how to JTAG the console to get the key. :o

I switched the drive with another ms28 of mine. Then flashed the e65 one to my xbox and got the same error. The drive is bricked. My drive works in the other xbox that had the e65 error. :? The key above is correct.

You'll need to buy a new drive, for your e65 xbox. Your lucky your key is good, if it wasnt you would need to trash your 360, as there is no way to recover the key from the board, the only way is through the drive.

Yeah I know. I can still eject it, and read/flash to it without a problem. Does anyone have a clue as to what may have caused the E65 error. It wasnt plugged in upside down. Im pretty sure it cant be fixed.

I'm not quite sure what caused it, but I can tell you I had an old samsung laying around that I fried, and it would read and write perfectly fine, but I would get e65, and it wouldn't open all the time.
