Why did you have to have it towed instead of taking it in? To save from having to wait on it or something?

Its going to cost $1700 do everything, i think. I messed up the caliper somehow when I was putting on the pads, so they have to order one of those. Bunch of gaskets need replaced on the engine too. Won't get it back till Friday evening, they are ordering parts today and hopefully getting to work on my door hinge and window seal at the body shop.

Dang man, I hate to hear that. It don't take much to add up to a small fortune when it comes to cars. Labor being the most expensive thing you'll pay for.

yeah, but now i have to get my girlfriend to take me to work every day cause i cant get a rental cause im not 21 yet. she's going to have to take me and pick me up 5 hours later. i feel bad about having her do it, but she says its ok. this is probably the thing that bugs me the most, not having a car to go to work when i work the next 5 days.

How old is your girlfriend?? If she's old enough, maybe she could get the rental?? You'd just have to make sure that you don't have any accidents because the rental insurance wouldn't cover you. Maybe you could just do something extra special for her to show your appreciation or something? Just thoughts running through my head at this point, :D
