i looked over it.
i would make sure to let them know that it can be put back orig (if they every want)after your do the mod/flashing.that may make some of them fill better about getting it done.also that there is not hard ware changes.that you cant even tell its been modded till you stick in a backup game.
you will want to keep a copy of all the firmware from every dvd drive you ever flash.

yeah i got a guy wanting me to softmod his xbox1 and a guy to mod his wii... what do you want me to do? i told the wii guy to PM me and i could refer him here to talk to you CoFree... do you think i should do the softmod and just get help from here?

yea you can send him here but there is not much we will/can do for him.he would have to be able to solder well.
if that was the case we could offer a lot of help

on the xbox1 softmod there is some parts you would need to buy and they are getting hard to find now.
that is one you could do though.ill get with j-man to let you know what you need to get.

ok, i'd hate to turn them away because i havent done a softmod before, i used a solderless chip in mine. i have yet to get a wii yet too but wasnt sure if one of you guys wanted to do it.

Brandon, I will help walk you through a softmod if you need it. You will need an action replay that you can usually pick up at Gamestop or one of those stores for about $25.00 (or you can make one yourself from an old controller). Also a copy of one of the three games (mechassault,007, etc.) that allow you access linux. I can also direct you when your ready on where to get the softmod and how to use it.

No problem. Its really a picky process anyways. You think the burning and all is a pain for 360's, its ten times worse for the old xboxes. You don't even know for sure that after its modded it will read backups. Some of the drives are so worn out that they won't. Let me know if you need anything though, and I'll be glad to help him out if he comes here.

keep your fingers crossed its not a v79 drive.
the v78 would be bad enough doable but a pain.
