First Build Help

Hi guys and girls,
I've always bought computers from ibuypower or cyberpowerpc

But now i am trying to build a cheap gaming pc

I just want to make sure every thing will work, can anyone see if all this stuff is compatible?

Looks good, nothing looks obviously incompatible. 5400RPM is slow for a desktop drive, I think. Nice to see the video card comes with the adapter for that stupid mini-HDMI.

5400 RPM is slow for a desktop drive.

Also, your PSU is kind of low wattage, it'll work but you may run into problems later if you upgrade. You can get a much higher wattage for a similar price. Also make sure you look at the power connections on the PSU, and make sure you have enough etc.

Bought everything and put it all together, Everything working fine, Gonna buy new power supply went I go SLI

Now just need to get money to buy Starcraft2

That was why I suggested you go to a bigger PSU. The combo is a good deal though you basically got the PSU for fee.

When all the dust settled how much did it cost total?

Total Cost: $664 with shipping

I am very happy that they only charged me 3 bucks for shipping the case, it is so big and heavy


This was a budget PC, I am only going to use it to play some TF2, Starcraft 2 and The Old Republic

Thats awesome, If i were to build the same comp it'd probably cost me $800+ shipping to canada is always expensive.

I would too, I got a buddy that helped me out finding the best deals/combos
