Solder Iron and wire

I'm looking to get A new solder Iron As I'm going to be doing A few liteon soon.What watt solder iron would you recommened and would recommending me A brand really matter?

What Is the name of the wire to make the jumpers?

And do I need solder wick? Or A solder sucker, whatever It's called?

well i like solder wick
the iron is up to you
i would get a adjustable iron

just make sure it will take a very small tip

15-20 watt is what you should be using for the 360. If your doing wires or other things you can use a higher wattage, so like cofree said an adjustable one is worth looking into. I have a 15/30 watt and its great.

Wick is better if your just doing surface mount components and soldering to pcb's etc... I have a sucker as well but I usually only use it for floating off components.

As for solder, stick to leaded.

As for the wire, I dont know the guage, but I dont think it'd matter a whole lot.

The wires called kynar wire I tryed some old IDE power wire way to thick.
