xport problems saving data on pc

Hi I was trying to save my hdd data on xport but when I click back up to image,i get a screen pop up saying failed to open device.The xport is open and I can look at the files.Have tried xplorer but it wont load even after I read a post about adding a .dll file to system 32(this may sound like I know what a .dll file is but I'm just not that good lol just following info)Thanks J

Well never add a random dll to your system. You can do some serious damage if the dll is malicious in any way.

What size HDD are you using? and are you sure your using the right version of xport/xplorer? There are different versions for different size HDD's. It may be different now, I havent messed with a HDD in ages.

Hi ,it's a 20 gig and its 2.13 xport running windows 7.As for xplorer extreme 2 had a pop up telling me that I needed the dll file and I looked up on it and found a post telling you what to do with the folder and still it says the dll is missing so cannot open the app.Thanks jay
