am a member on 360 mods but i would like to pick ur brain and ask you this
about wii drives i need to be able to back games up is this the drive i looking for

man i dont think so. if thats your part number. GDR 8164BL or GDR-H30NBL
these drive work.
First, you need a specific drive to be able to read the disks. Any from this list will work fine:
* LG-8164b
* LG-8163b
* LG-8162b
* LG-8161b
Second, you'll need the Rawdump program that can be found in the thread the cofree posted, should be a sticky at the top of this section.

its a 8164b but it juast has a L at the end

has far i can see of lg website that the full name for them lg gdr 8164b or l o bb
