Hermes over at Elotrolado has released his fork of the PSGroove that allows playing of your backup games without the need of the Blu-Ray Disc inside your PS3 drive. heres the link to news source, translated by google translate http://translate.google.co.uk/translate ... 6prmd%3Div" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The BM itself already enabled piracy.

Whats to stop you from renting/borrowing a bunch of games and installing them, then returning them, and playing them from your HDD with one of your games in the tray?

It's the same thing, just now you dont need a disk, which removes some of the hassle, and makes it safer as far as not damaging disks...
