questions concerning new 360 HDD , Profile, etc.

Hello Playground -
Dear CoFree - HaggardSmurf, DJShauny1, (my expertise advisement staff!)
I have flashed my current 360 with LT, everything is going great.. so thanks to everyone for that.

1.) I am going to purchase a new 360 for online play.

2.) What do I do with my old 360? I have Oblivion saves with like 400+ hours.
I would love to migrate everything from my old HDD to the new HDD, but I am very worried about gamertag / save data corruption. (I mainly care about my game saves...don't really care about DLC, XBLA games, etc.)

So basically my question is.. do I have to be worried about all my saves from my old 360? Is there a safe migration method anyone would recommend?

When I purchase my new 360, will I be able to use it with my old live account? And able to use xbox live?

In the end - I hope to have one offline 360 for my backups & one 360 for my multiplayer gaming. Can both systems use the same save data? I don't want anything "weird" to happen to my new 360 I plan to purchase.

With all this being said, would you recommend just to start up a new gamertag?
How can I accomplish this most efficiently & is there a certain 360 model anyone might recommend?
