Well, I'm still trying to understand what's the difference between the different types of mods.
I want to be able to play burned games and also save games to my hard drive.

Then you'll want to flash your drive.Faizal0908 wrote:Well, I'm still trying to understand what's the difference between the different types of mods.

Soft mod's and hard mod's (chips) do the same thing, but flashing is much easier.
jtagging is the process of flashing a new nand to your console and allows you to run unsigned code which lets you launch homebrew app's and play arcade games offline, also play games from your HDD without the disk, play games from an external HDD etc...
Jtagging is pretty much offline only, you will end up being banned and you'll need to swap key vault's which you'll need to extract from another console, or buy from ebay etc...
Jtagging can only be done on certain console's you need an exploitable kernel.
Anyways, for what you want to do you'll need to flash your drive, thats all.
