i have a prob with a ps3 turn it on it reads the game , when i click play it just keeps reseting , i have tried two new lasers but still doing it
i get error message 80010017

could try formatting hdd,but backup first

i have tried formatting hd , reseting the ps3 etc but still the same i read yesterday on the net it is something to do with the board on the drive , can i just buy one of these off the net and change it or is there a key like the xbox 360 that matches the mother board

they are married to the console
like the dvd drive in a 360

i have now found out the 2 lasers i brought recently niether will work in mine as these are for model number CECHG01 mine is a CECHG03 i cant seem to find one that states it will work in mine

i have cechG03 and mine is KES400-A,tho i hear some do have the dual laser

yes mate the dual laser dont fit in mine i have brought a kes400 so you say i may need the kes 400-a i will look into that, i have hasd a look on ebay and found the kes400-a when i look done at the info it say for model number CECHP01 /L01 /E01 /K01 etc not the G03
