yellow dog on ps3

hi, just installed linux yellow dog on ps3 and its ok but my internet wont work on for some reason but i will give it a go again. just wondering does anyone know any programmes or software which i can use on linux i dont find much use of it.

I am far from an expert on PS3, but you can use a lot of programs like FireFox, VLC player, and mplayer. VLC player and mplayer are media players which will handle just about all standard definition files fine. Native High Definition files still struggle on PS3 because hardware acceleration is not supported for Linux on PS3. So if you play native HD files in VLC or mplayer on PS3, they will probably lag. You can stream HD content from a networked PC by converting HD mkv files to vob format.
