yes i have a question i have the liteon not slim it was soldered with LT 1.1 i heard there comming out with a new firmware for that AP2.5 once it comes out can i upgrade it to the new firmware or no and would i have to put the tray half way closed and put probe in the r707 hole or no if someone can help

well untill it comes out
know one knows 100%
but
you should be able to take you dummy file from your first dump
and using jungle flasher (im sure a new jungle will come out also)
build your new ap25 supported firmware
i think its going to be something like LT+
and flash it in
you should not need the probe again

Probing is for dumping the drive, so as long as you have your original FW, like cofree said all you'll need to do is take your dummy.bin and build your hacked FW, then flash.

all i have is a file called lite_cfw.bin is that what i would need to update my firmware
