Electronic Arts has expanded its licensing deal with Unreal Engine 3 creator Epic Games to use the middleware in "more than five" upcoming projects.
ImageEA has already used UE3 under a 2006 agreement with Epic for games including Medal of Honor: Airborne and the recently-released Army of Two.
Apparently, the Redwood City, Calif.-based megapublisher liked the middleware.
"This agreement reflects our commitment to Epic's technology which, in combination with our own cutting-edge systems, allows us to create ground breaking hits," said EA Games president Frank Gibeau in a statement.
EA said that details on the "more than five games" included under the new licensing agreement will be released at a later date.
