JTAG Nand dump help

Hello fellow nottinghamians!(*spelling?*) My father and I recently came across a broken down xbox 360, the drive has completely been fried. We decided to jtag it and get the dvd key and spoof it. So far we have dumped the nand four times. This is xenon mobo withuot HDMI, CB of 1903. On the four dumps, NANDpro does not give me any errors, upon comparing the dumps I have 33 non matching blocks. Im comparing these dumps with JTAG Tool by coolshrimp. I have used Degraded to check the individual dumps and it shows now errors. Are we in the clear to move on? Or do we need to dump some more. Or patch the bin with nandcompare 3.1?

Help is much appreciated! Boomtown and SGTCOFFEE

I believe you are pretty much done with checking all of the data. Next is to re-flash your nand with XeLL and get your cpu key so you can get even closer :P

I'm pretty sure haggardsmurf would know about that. I believe others have gotten that error but i wouldnt know. I'd try this guide http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/topic/1 ... -nandxell/ (although doesnt show how to install other stuff after you jtag it;you could look it up on youtube or somewhere else) Still havent gotten my hands on a jtag-able board but have studied it enough.

I've never jtagged, but from what I know if you get e79 after flashing xell, you have a bad connection somewhere, or using wrong/bad resistors. (Or correct resistor in the wrong spot)

If you boot your console and the jtag fail's (bad connection somewhere, and the data does not get to the cpu/gpu) then your console will look for the dashboard, and fail giving you e79.

Make sure your resistors are in the right location, and make sure all your joint's are good. When you solder, you should be heating the solder point, and the solder, not just the solder, then dabbing the solder onto the point.

Alright, well im about to swap out the switching diodes on the three jtag points for the 330 ohm resistors like i saw in the original version of the jtag for xenon. Will update afterward. Im sure my jtag connections are good cause i can reflash my nand with the original and it turns on but wont boot into the systems orig menu. From what i read if you have the jtag soldering right it will turn on but not actually boot. I get no e79 when its in the original dump. Be back soon!

OK, having some small problems. When i flashed back to my original dump.. the box turns on and the middle light is on. But i dont get the safe spinning green light and boot up. Just sits there. Do i need to erase my nand? or should i just short it out and see if that brings it back? Open to ideas here :)
