if you have dumped the drive before
just use your dump to build your new hacked firmware and flash it in
if its stock
then yes there is something going on with that probe
not sure what it could be man
i have many and none have ever done that

Right Ive reinstalled to winxp like you suggested coffree, JF is working without freezing, my drive is recognised like the OP describes but I notice it has no DVD key, when I click to get the key I get same message as this guy, Serial data is Bad. Its already been flashed before so I dont understand. Somethings always goes wrong Im pig sick I am. I dont have the original dump either as it was done last year using Iprep.

Ok so Ive had this guy who does them for a living on the phone tonight, He spent about 2 hours and was also in remote assistance, Whats happening now is there is a disc symbol on the cursor whenever I switch on the CK3, Like as if its trying to read from the drive. Then the odd time it dont do that and he clicks the device intro button, Then Yes and I quickly turn the CK3 off and back on again its not getting the key, Its just staying on 052 or whatever it is. Now Im on XP and once again JF is not working for me. Is it possible someone could get and IX Def file so we can use Iprep please ? Ive even tried using the probe too to no avail.
The guy over the phone said its probs my VIA card, Its onboard but Ive used it in iprep without any issues, But he insists I get one of those and will work. I think the PC is trying to install the drive as sometimes Ive gone in device manager and its there with a yellow exclamation mark.

guys if you want to try iprep then i would do it like this video
build your firmware with jungle the flash with iprep
but
you must have a good dump of your firmware
to input as source in jungle flasher
you would just input your orig firmware from iprep backup folder you got when you flashed it with iprep

I was thinking of maybee you could do it like that, I dont have the backup folder anymore. So if I say load another Iextreme in iprep for instance, boot into iprep and read the drive like normal. Then go to backups folder in the stick and drag out the OFW. Then go into JF and create the hacked FW. This is the part id be stuck with Coffree, from here could you please explain how id go about doing the JF part and then putting it back into Iprep to flash. One of your fine and dandy video tuts would be incredible

for everyone that wants to use Iprep.
I receieved a PM from Klutsh on ou Tube stating that there will be no iprep that will support the new LT+ past or present as he said they decided to encrypt the FW and leave him out. A massive shame. But that method would still work right ? Like I wont even need to hook the drive up while I create the FW. Please mate wack a little vid tut up.

If your drive is at version lt, and you don't have keys or backup dump, you will need to do the mra fix. This is very similar to the 9xxx series dump.
Here is a link from the jf site:
hxxp://hotfile.com/dl/70593434/46d19c0/jftut1.3.8.pdf.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
just replace the xx with tt in the link name
Hope this helps, spent a couple of hours figuring this out.
