dont want to flash with jungleflasher question ?

Hi

I wish to reflash my liteon 74850c from LT to LT+ I have the original dummy.bin and have created the new LT+ firmware using firmtool in jungleflasher and saved
the new created Lite_CFW.bin file .
however I have had numerous issues with my PC freezing despite trying the usual via freeze fixes so I wish to avoid the heartache of yet another bad flash by using
dos flash / iprep ?
my first question is can I still erase and flash this Liteon 74850c with a boot usb
and secondly do these older programs still support this method on this drive
and finally how do I do this ?
I have searched around but cannot find anything detailed for just erasing and then flashing with dos/iprep + exact commands ?
I have a CK3 and via card

many thanks in advance for any help guys :)

you should be able to just flash in the firmware as long as its named right for the version of iprep you have
have a look at this.
you would only have to do the flashing part

dosflash and iprep will always support the flashing of the drives, but they dont support building new CFW's. Which means anything pre LT (I believe?) you can dump the drive and have it build your FW, then flash.

If you want to flash LT or LT+ you will need to dump the drive, then use jungle flasher to build the hacked FW, then boot back into dosflash, and flash the drive with your pre made FW.

the video link is helpful but leaves certain questions unanswered like

1. my drive is not recovering from a bad flash ( I have made up the LT+ in jungleflasher ready to flash new cfw file )
so the drive has not been erased .
2.so will iprep perform a flash of the liteon drive as well as writing ?
3.if so what are the erase commands ?
4. is iprep able to cope with the new LT+

regards
