well it cant just be the wrong key
it would still work fine just not boot a game

so it has to be a bad flash

there are ways to recover from a bad flash
but you have to have your good firmware with good key

here is a guide that should help

you will have to hunt down the older programs but they are all on the site here
have a look over this

iPrep does not like VIA chipset's try using an onboard port.

Lots of times the lite-on will not return 72 status right away, just keep resending the command.

Just for info.
I got my drive to work again, i just want to explain what went wrong for me, mayby this can help others in the future.

1. Somehow i flashed my lite-on drive with wrong key and i used dosflash with iprep and with the drive half open.
2. Installed the drive i the xbox there was no contact with the drive and unable to close or eject the drive.
3. I tried again to run dosflash with the tray half open, but unable to get contact with the drive, i only gor the ff80 and no ff72.
4. After serveral attempts i tried to do it with the tray closed, then i got contact with the drive, and was able to use dosflash i then flashed it with the correct key this time.
5. Then i installed the drive in the xbox again and i got and error massage and the drive would not open.
6. Then i open the drive and manual open the tray to half open.
7. I flashed the drive again with dosflash.
8. Intalled the drive in the xbox and then the drive works fine :D .

I just want to say thank you for the quick answer and for a very nice guide how to do.

Good job man. Liteon's are almost always recoverable, but they can be a pain sometimes :?
