Maximus iXtreme LT+ UART Enable Patch for LiteOn

Hi I was looking around the net lastnight and kinda ran into this.It is a patch for the Lt FW that will let you read the key again after flashing to LT I have not tried this yet myself it is a use at your own risk so be carefull if you try it make sure you keep the original just in case.I dont know if it has been posted here yet or not, sry for the dbl post if it is. but i dont like it
here at the play ground we have always been about being as safe on live as possible

so i wont be supporting it
guys you can try it and we would love to here about it

ill not be doing it on any of my consoles
at this point

the big thing is guys
when you dump your drive the firrt time you should save a copy of your info
(FOR ALL TIME)
IT IS A MUST
as you cant just dump the drive like before
but you can take your orig firmware and build a new firmware and flash in

If your going to lose your ofw just write the key on the mobo/drive.

That way if you ever lose the OFW/CFW you can just make a new one with your key. No need to ever dump the drive again.

Ok for those that don't use live, I have done a Liteon 7 series and this does work I used latest JF and dumped the drive with LT+ on it using Maximus probe, drive about 2" open. Well I thought I would post back on how it worked no more MRA Hacks You still have to cut 8 9 Series to first get the key, but once you repair or if you happen to have your PC crash before you get a chance to save the key this may be helpfull.

I reccommend only using this if your not on live

i keep all the firmware i dump so i have the key
On the other hand we all run 2 console setups and our flashed console will never see live again
so its up to you
IMO
I would not use this patch in a firmware for a dvd drive that is going on live.
