Kinect Update Question

I searched the forums and couldn't find any information on this, if it's here somewhere please direct me to the right place and I apologize.

The Kinect forces you to update to use it of course and some games want to update.

Is Kinect not safe?

As safe as it can be at this present moment, with somethings to keep in mind, you're using the new LT + for you're drive and not using a spoofed drive. Or you're running stock on the orginal drive.
