Could i get a link to a reliable source for vt6421a drivers, my cp wont recognize my card

You shouldnt be installing driver's for the card anyhow.

What do you mean? In device manager?

I had the same problem , I was connecting the sata cable at the back of the via card instead of the front port, give it a try worked for me.
