HI GUYS
iv just been asked to do a xb with the newest fw, i started but found out its a tsh-943 now the last time i did a sammy it needed ix1.61, that was a while back.
anyhow i started to create an iprep using the newest but cant load the newest fw which i beleive is ix-ltv1.0-sammy ? the option just isnt lit up in iprep to choose the fw !
am i missin something new ? or old ? is that the newest fw for sammy ?
im trying to do it in iprep 12 (the newest for lt+)i also have sadalius's old vid using iprep 10.7

i remember these drives were easy but like i said its been a while, any help is much appreciated

The latest FW for a samsung is LT 1.0

iPrep cant flash LT as far as I know I think it stoped correctly building firmwares after 1.6? Anyhow just load up a firmware in iprep (can be anything) read the drive, boot back into windows, load up jungle flasher, open the OFW as source, then load up LT 1.0 as target, hit spoof, take the CFW and put that on the usb stick, then go flash.

You can follow cofree's guide on fixing a bricked lite-on (Fast forward to the dos flash part) it will show you how to flash.

Make sure you have a backup of the key/ofw you may want to write the key by hand on the drive itself. Once LT is flashed to the drive you cant dump it normally, you need to do the MRA hack in order to get a full dump. (MRA hack is the soldering method used on 8 and 9 series drives. The MRA hack is how you get the full dump of the drive)

nah didnt work with new iprep u must mean to use the older 1 maybe 10.7 i think it is ?
im not bothered about re-flashing it once its dun its not mine but i gota get it dun !? bugger .

i remember having to use 7&5 digits time ago is that all changed now ?

ah thats it i have to put it in modeb, 0x70 does the switch on the ck3 work for that ?
do i need rs cable in ?

got it dun used iprep 10.7 and console serial then dos after saving ofw
